Players will each climb onto a rope ladder held firmly at the two ends. It is very easy for this ladder to tip in one direction or the other. Unless you have amazing balance, the ladder will start tipping back and forth. When it does, it will be very hard to keep holding on. If the players can keep their balance for long enough, they can climb to the top of the ladder. The one that manages to do that faster than their opponent, wins! You can turn the Jacob’s Ladder game into either a race or simply a challenge. If you want to do a race, let the players hop back on if they fall until they get to the top. Otherwise, when someone falls off it’s game over for them. The Jacob’s Ladder Competition is also a great opportunity for pictures and videos.
